Dave was born and raised in Santa Fe. He graduated from St. Michael’s High School and went on to attend Stanford University. Dave graduated from Stanford where he majored in Civil Engineering and minored in Economics. He continued his education in Economics at the University of San Francisco. Dave, his wife Lori and their sons Anthony and Alex reside in Santa Fe. Dave is currently the President of SVHsupport. SVHsupport is a locally managed nonprofit organization that partners with CHRISTUS Health to provide ongoing financial and strategic support to CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center. Prior to SVHsupport, Dave was the President of the Legal Claims and Consulting Division of SourceCorp, a public company, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, with expertise in Business Process Outsourcing. Dave also founded, Zia Information Analysis Group, in San Francisco, California. Zia was a professional services firm providing economic expert witness testimony and litigation support services to law firms, in house counsel and regulatory agencies. Lastly, before founding Zia, Dave was a Partner with Peterson Consulting an international litigation consulting firm in San Francisco. During this period, Dave testified in Federal and State Court as an expert economic witness on government contract disputes, regulatory utility disputes and general commercial damage matters.
Martha Acosta Secretary
Martha Acosta is an accomplished training veteran who specializes in participant-centered and blended learning. In 1998, Martha began her corporate training career in Silicon Valley by applying innovative learning solutions to the exploding technology industry. Martha has facilitated a broad range of management subjects including Leadership Development, Emotional Intelligence, Negotiation, Sales and Client Management, Innovation and Creativity, Industrial Safety, and Organizational Learning and Development.
Martha earned her MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and her BA from St. John's College in Annapolis, Maryland. She also received a professional credential in Training Systems Development from San Francisco State University. Martha does research on emotional intelligence and cognitive complexity as a doctoral candidate in Human and Organizational Learning at George Washington University in Washington D.C.
Dee Walsh Member at Large
Dee Walsh is the Executive Vice President for Network and Corporate Affairs for the Housing Partnership Network (HPN) where she directs HPN’s domestic and international peer exchange and manages HPN’s policy office, innovations team and corporate governance. In the 22 years prior to HPN, Dee was the Executive Director of REACH Community Development corporation. She was also an adjunct professor and served on the advisory board at Portland State University’s Center for Real Estate. Dee has co-authored three articles on community development with colleague Robert O. Zdenek. She holds a Masters degree in Urban Planning from the University of Washington and a certificate from Harvard University for the Achieving Excellence in Community Development program.
Erika Campos Vice Chair
Erika Campos has worked in healthcare for close to 20 years. She runs Strategic Planning and Business Development for CHRISTUS St. Vincent, Northern New Mexico’s largest private employer and health system with two hospital and medical group that employs over 100 providers. She recently graduated from the CHRISTUS Health Leadership & Ethics Academy. She has served in various management roles for companies in New Mexico (Presbyterian and Lovelace), Arizona, Texas, California, Oklahoma and Maryland in Marketing Communications, Research & Planning. To help finance her BSBA from the University of Richmond in Richmond, VA, Erika served as an officer in the US Army Reserves. While on the east coast, she also interned with the United States Senate Budget Committee and was a disc jockey for a radio station. Locally, she has served on the Board of Women’s Health Services, the Santa Fe County Health Planning and Policy Commission, and as a Quality New Mexico Examiner. In addition to Homewise, she is currently on the Board of the Interfaith Community Shelter. A New Mexico native, her husband and two kids have made Santa Fe their home since 2003.
Teresa Leger de Fernandez Member at Large
Teresa Leger de Fernandez, Member at Large, has served as General Counsel to several Native American Tribes and their business enterprises for over 23 years. Her work ranges from financing to protecting sacred sites to negotiating renewable energy development; including the development of the legal, legislative, business, economic and physical infrastructure for sovereigns and businesses. She has received Presidential appointments from both President Obama and President Clinton. She started her academic career in the first Headstart class in New Mexico, went on to graduate from Yale and receive her J.D., with distinction, from Stanford Law School. She is the founder of Leger Law and Strategy, LLC. LL&S is a dynamic law firm focusing on projects that beneficially impact our communities.
Agnes Noonan Member at Large
Agnes Noonan has served as the President of WESST, a statewide economic development organization in New Mexico which helps people start and grow their own business since 1991. She has over 35 years’ experience in small business development and management. Previously, she served as the Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, where she worked with local, regional, and international agencies on issues relating to economic development. In Costa Rica, she served as a small business consultant for the United States Peace Corps, working with a variety of small, locally based businesses.
Ms. Noonan holds a B.A. in Political Science from Berea College and an M.A. in International Affairs with a concentration in Latin American Business and Economics from The George Washington University. She is a past award recipient of the SBA’s Women’s Business Advocate of the Year, the New Mexico Business Hall of Fame and Top-Performing CEOs.
Andrew Spingler Treasurer
Andrew Spingler is the founder and Member of The Focal Point LLC, which has offices in Oakland, New York, Dallas and Santa Fe. The Focal Point is this country’s premier trial strategy and graphics consulting firm. Since 1989, Mr. Spingler has specialized in working with trial lawyers in complex cases in order to find ways to make those cases easier to understand and, as a result, more persuasive to juries. Prior to the company’s founding, Mr. Spingler worked in the public accounting and consulting field, where one of his responsibilities was helping partners at the international firm of KPMG prepare their testimony as expert witnesses in a variety of civil litigation matters. He has spoken and published on the subject of visual communication in the courtroom for the ABA, Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB), the California Judges Association, and numerous law firms. He is a CPA and holds a BA in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Anne Messbarger-Eguia Member at Large
Anne is the Founder and Owner of Anne Messbarger-Eguia Strategy Consulting, an independent consulting firm offering strategic planning support for small and mid-sized organizations. Prior to founding her consulting firm, Anne spent 22 years with CHRISTUS Health, most recently as the Senior Systems Director of Strategy, Research, and Innovation. Anne holds a BA in Spanish/English from the University of Illinois and an MA in Hispanic Literature from the University of Texas. She also holds a Master of Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas. Anne currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Ettling Center for Civic Leadership and is a past Board Member for Visitation House Ministries and CHRISTUS Muguerza Health System.
